In thinking of all the weddings we seem to have every summer, I got thinking about how fun it would be to have a dress to wear that I really loved, rather than just whatever I can find from the few stores in our area. I happened to think of a really funky, crazy designer that I've always liked and when I started looking at her dresses, I found one I would love. Again...I would never pay this much for something though...

If Money Were No Object #2...

I have a serious love for shoes. My front closet is full of them, my bedroom closet is full of them and they are even lining part of a wall in my bedroom (did I mention my summer shoes are in a bin in the garage?). Yes, I love shoes. However, the most expensive pair of shoes I own is a $120.00 pair that I did not pay for, but obtained through a review opportunity. As far as shoes that I have bought, my most expensive pair is about $60.00 and it's a pair of running shoes. That fact makes the shoes below completely out of the question...

If Money Were No Object...

I thought it would be fun to start a little recurring post where I feature one thing each day that I would love to have if money were no object. Just a fun way to daydream about the kinds of things that I really, really, really like, but will never have the money to purchase, or even if I did, I'm too practical to actually spend that kind of money on. So, since it is ridiculously cold here in Michigan right now. I am going to start off with a coat that is so me, yet so not in my budget...

Something New, Something Fun

Sometimes I just get an itch to get something new and fun in terms of fashion. Of course, finances don't usually cooperate with these little itches of mine, but I can dream, right? So here are a few things I'm dreaming of right now...

A warm, casual winter coat with a flattering cut so I don't look like a big puffy ball.


A cute new pair of black heels.


A new piece (or several) of Brighton jewelry.


A cute pair of pumas (my other tennis shoes are too clunky for casual jean days).


Workout clothes that I can feel good in instead of the frumpy tees and pants/shorts I currently have. Come on, when you're doing Zumba, you need to look and feel cute (even if it is in your own living room).
