This Little Prayer of Mine by Anthony DeStefano

I love books, my kids love books and we all love books we can read together. This Little Prayer of Mine is one of those books that is simple, yet effective in getting it's point across and a book that parents and kids will both enjoy.

First of all, the illustrations in this book are fantastic. I also love the rhyming style of the book and the different things that the kids pray for. From simple things like praying for bravery when they are scared and praying for happiness when they are sad, to praying for help to make the right decisions, help to be good, help to be generous and help to be thankful. They touch on all different kinds of prayers, letting kids know that they can pray about anything.

This book is one of those great bedtime books that I know my youngest will love and be asking me to read for a long time and that I will be happy to read to him over and over again.

Please visit the Random House website here for information on where to purchase this book!

This seems like a great book! We have a family prayer every night before bed and I think this would be great to help my boy understand it better.
