Valentine's Review/Discount ~ Sock Grams

I love cute, goofy printed socks and I love getting packages in the mail, so Sock Grams are my idea of a seriously fun gift!

I was sent a pair of Heart and Sole socks for Valentine's Day to review. They are cute, feel nice on my feet and didn't fade when I washed them, so I'd say they are everything I want out of a sock.

Sending a Sock Gram is easy (all except for the picking out which cute pair because there are so many)!

Picking out the perfect pair is the first step. They have just about anything you could think of. They are available in newborn to men's size 13, so they will fit virtually anyone. There are themed socks, holiday socks, humorous socks, fashion socks, etc.

The second step is adding a personalized greeting. They have cards for holidays and different occasions to choose from, so you can find just the right one for the lucky recipient of your Sock Gram.

The third step? Well, they take care of that for you! They add a packet of Spa Foot Balm for grown-ups or a pack of stickers for the kids, custom gift-wrapping and free standard delivery to the US and Canada!

Just look at a few of the cute options they have...

I'm a coffee fanatic, so I think these Coffee or Tea? women's socks are adorable!

These Men's Loafer N Argyle Socks socks are hilarious!

What little girl wouldn't love these sweet little Ballet Slipper Socks?

The cuteness is almost too much with these Baby Girl Saby's Shoe Socks!

Don't forget those sweet little baby boys too!

Valentine's Review/Giveaway #6 ~ Scandle Body Massage Candle

Who doesn't love a massage and aren't they always better when accompanied with a nice smelling massage oil or lotion that leaves you smelling good and reminds you of the massage bliss you enjoyed? I sure think so. And how about candles? Seriously, how many ladies do you know who don't like candles? I actually don't know if I know any. Now, think of a candle, massage lotion and a massage and I think you've got yourself a pretty darn good combination.

Scandle is a company that makes body massage candles. That's right! Here's how the company describes their products...

Are you fond of body massage oil and fragrant spa candles? What if you could combine them both into a massage oil candle that combined the potent scent of a candle with the comfort of a essential oil massage lotion? Our Scandle body candles do just that, beginning as a delightful soy candle that melts into a wonderful body lotion suitable for skin care or as a soothing massage lotion. There is nothing quite like a body candle massage, with the wonderful aroma of our massage oil aromatherapy candles working equally well as a room-enhancing scent and as a aromatherapy soy lotion for your skin. Consider a soy body candle for massage purposes, or just use one of our massage candle varieties for aromatherapy purposes—our spa candles have many uses, and are sure to become your favorite body lotion candle.

Sounds pretty darn cool, doesn't it?

I was sent a Scandle Originals Travel Candle in the limited edition fragrance for Valentine's Day: Chocolate Dipped Strawberry. And yes, it does smell as wonderful as it sounds. And would you believe that the burn time on this little travel candle is 15-30 hours? Now that's pretty impressive if you ask me.

Now don't you think that sounds like a fun and unique Valentine's gift? Even if you aren't into massages (you're just weird if you aren't) you could always use it as a nice moisturizer for your hands, feet, or whole body. Just think of how nice it would feel to have the candle lit while you take a bath and then get out and use the lotion. Yup, I know that sounds nice, don't even try to say it doesn't. So it's pretty much a perfect gift for anyone.

They have several different fragrances available as well as sizes, refills, gift sets and even things like sea salt soak & scrub. So, go check it all out!

The nice people at Scandle have offered to give one of my readers a Travel Candle in the scent of your choice! So hurry up and check out all the different ways to gain entries into the giveaway below!

If you don't want to have to wait to see if you win and would like some for yourself or as a gift, get over to Scandle and order now!

Valentine's Review/Giveaway # 5 ~ Cowgirl Chocolates

Chocolate...is there a more popular treat for Valentine's Day? I think not. Do you ever get tired of getting the same chocolate samplers with all the predictable filling and flavors? Well, I've got a cure for your boring predictable chocolate that can be found at Cowgirl Chocolates!

These ladies don't mess around, let me tell ya. You can tell they're a spunky crew and I can only imagine how much fun they have coming up with new and interesting ideas. In fact, I had fun just checking out all of their stuff on their website!

So, ya wanna know what's so different and exciting about their chocolate and candy as opposed to the stuff you're used to? Well, let me tell you. As their website will tell you "Cowgirl Chocolates are sweet and spicy gourmet chocolates for adventurous chocolate lovers and packaged as unique beautiful gifts for any and all occasions." Yup, you read that right...sweet and SPICY!

I was sent a 1/3 pound sampler to get a taste (there I go being corny again) of what they have to offer. Included were Spicy Truffles in the flavors - Raspberry Dark Chocolate, Double Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut Milk Chocolate and Cappuccino. There were also Mild Truffles in the flavors - Double Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Ivory Orange and Raspberry Lemon. They also sent one of their Habanero Caramels.

Let me break it down for ya. Yum, yum and more yum. I am not a girl who is big on spicy things, but the Spicy Truffles had just enough kick to make them interesting and not so much that I couldn't tolerate to eat them. The Mild Truffles were right up my ally and the Ivory Orange and Raspberry Lemon ones were out of this world! Now, let me tell ya about the Habanero Caramel. I let Brian take a bite of it and he took about half and then I took a little bite off of the remaining half. All of a sudden we were both like "Whoa!". Let me tell ya, that little puppy was hot! Tasted just like a delicious caramel, but with a kick you would not believe. Definitely not my speed, but Brian thought it was great and immediately decided that we need to get some for my Dad because he loves spicy stuff (and candy). I agree too that my Dad would think they were awesome, so we will definitely be getting him some (only we're not going to tell him they're spicy, we're just going to give him one first and see how he reacts). If you knew the kinds of pranks he likes to pull, you would have no problem with that. LOL

In keeping with the theme that my husband liked these and I know my Dad would, I think these would make an awesome Valentine's Day gift for the guy in your life. I think guys tend to be hard to buy for, so this would be something cool and different that I'm sure they would appreciate. In the same token, any lady who likes things spicy would appreciate them too. Don't forget that they have the Mild Truffles as well and anyone would love those.

But wait! That's not all! (Don't I sound like an infomercial?) Cowgirl Chocolates also offers Truffle Bars (I've got my eye on the Lemonade White Chocolate Bar), different flavored Barks, different flavored Caramels, different flavored Brittles, Dessert Sauces (even spicy ones), Spicy Old Fashioned Hot Chocolate, Regular Old Fashioned Hot Chocolate, different flavored Chocolate Bars, etc. You seriously need to check out their website to see all the awesome stuff and interesting flavors they have. I've never seen anything like it.

So, have I got you interested yet? Want to try some of these yummy treats for yourself? Well, the sassy ladies over at Cowgirl Chocolates would like to offer one of my readers their very own 1/3 pound sampler! Check out below for how to gain entries into this spicy giveaway!

Don't want to wait to try it or want to place an order for someone special for Valentine's Day? Get yourself over to Cowgirl Chocolates and order now!

Valentine's Review/Giveaway #4 ~ Cream Perfume Company

I think it's safe to say that we all like to smell good, right? I think it's also safe to say that lotions, perfumes and other bath and body type products are always a popular gift choice. I love them, however I like to wear unique scents that you can't typically just find anywhere. That's what made me so interested in this company that I'd like to share with you, and it's products.

The Cream Perfume Company is unique in the fact that it uses natural products that aren't harsh on your skin and they use fragrances that I've never seen anywhere else.

I was sent all 3 of their Perfumed Body Moisturizers - Lavender, Rose and a travel size in Coconut. I immediately was excited about the coconut one because coconut is one of my favorite scents. The one I was a little leery about was the Rose scent. I say that because when I think of Rose scented things, little old ladies come to mind. No offense to little old ladies because they smell lovely with their rose-scented perfumes and lotions, I would just prefer to wait until I'm a little old lady to smell that way. Well, would you believe my favorite of all the scents actually ended up being the Rose one? I never would have thought that would be the case. I can tell you exactly what it is about the Rose scent as well as the Lavender and Coconut scents that I love though. They remind me of the smell of the lotions that are used on me when I get a massage from the massage therapist. I always love how I smell when I leave from there and now I can smell like that whenever I want to, just by putting on these perfumed body moisturizers. I actually like the way these lotions smell and make my skin feel better than any other kinds of scented lotions I've ever used. The other brands all smell good, but they don't really hydrate my skin and I end up smelling good but being itchy all day because there was no real moisturizing. A 6 oz. tube is only $12.00 too, so it is affordable and a little goes a really long way, so it will last a long time as well.

The other product that I had the pleasure of reviewing is their Nuts creme de parfum. These are cute little .35 oz jars made from environmentally friendly residual Canadian birch that are filled with solid perfumes that you simply rub your finger in and apply wherever you'd like. They come in 10 different scents and I was sent the Apricot chypre, Mango poudre and Mimosa bouquet to review. I've worn them all and am actually wearing my favorite of the three right now (Apricot chypre). I really liked the Mango poudre as well. The Mimosa bouquet is a vibrant floral scent, which usually isn't a favorite of mine, but I think it might be very nice for the summer when you're out in the breeze and it won't seem quite so strong. For anyone who likes florals though, I think they will love this. What I really love about these is how they are the perfect size to throw in your purse, you don't have to worry about them leaking all over and you can use them to freshen up your scent throughout the day. I can already tell too that in the summer when your skin is nice and warm, they are really going to exude an amazing fragrance. Like the Apricot chypre that I'm wearing right now. I can smell the fruity tones as well as the musky tones and I think that will be fantastic on warm, tan skin. Kinda makes me long for summer, actually! I'd really like to try the Organic Forest terre scent. It's described as "A delightfully earthy perfume with opening notes of nutmeg, orange and elemi, finishing with a robust base of patchouli and bouquet of woody-cedar." Now that sounds like my kind of perfume! I tend to prefer the earthy, musky scents as opposed to the fruity or floral scents, so this one sounds amazing to me. These range from $12.00 to $14.00, so they are less expensive and will last just as long if not longer than the perfume you probably typically buy! I think they are awesome!

So, if you typically get lotions or perfumes for Valentine's Day, why not suggest something from The Cream Perfume Company? Try out a new, unique scent and treat your body to some moisturizing that actually stays with you through the day.

You can go to their website here to place an order and get it on it's way to you now!
They have a great deal going on for Valentine's Day where when you buy any 3 solids, you get an adorable wooden box, free gift wrapping and free shipping to the US and Canada!

The great people over at The Cream Perfume Company have offered to gift 3 of my readers with their choice of any item for sale on their website! I'm so excited that 3 of you will have the chance to try out their products for free! See below for how to gain entries into this giveaway!

Valentine's Review/Giveaway #3 ~ Fantasy Jewelry Box

Have you ever longed for the fancy jewelry that celebrities flaunt on the red carpet but know that it is so obnoxiously expensive you could never possibly afford it...or even be willing to pay that much if you could (half of the stuff is lent to them by designers anyway, so don't feel bad because they don't really own it either). Or, are you like me and would literally be upset if your husband or boyfriend spent some ridiculous amount of money on jewelry for you? Don't worry, Brian is well aware that I do not want him spending tons of money on jewelry for me and would you believe he's ok with that? Who would have thought? LOL

Ok, so I wouldn't spend the money and don't want it spent on me either, but I still really love jewelry! I have found the perfect solution with Fantasty Jewelry Box. Their slogan is "Affordable Jewelry for Expensive Tastes" and that's just what they deliver.

I know jewelry is a big gift of choice for Valentine's Day and that's why I wanted to get this company known to my readers! Wouldn't it be fun to get a few really great pieces that you could wear and feel all fancy in, for less than the price that your guy would normally spend on one?! That sure seems like a no-brainer to me. Not to mention, they offer this promise..."Shop Fantasy Jewelry Box with complete confidence! We proudly stand behind our jewelry with our risk-free guarantee to assure that you are a happy, lifelong customer!" See, even more incentive to look to them when you're looking for some great jewelry. Besides, much of the jewelry is sterling silver and they even have Tungsten, titanium and stainless steel rings for men!

Well, being the crazy jewelry girl I am, I was beyond excited when I got to choose an item to review. After much consideration, I decided on the Phoebe's Octagon Shape CZ Wedding Ring Set. Ok, so you're probably thinking "Um, Danielle, don't you already have a wedding ring set?" Well, yes, I do. However, since losing so much weight, it is waaaayyyy too big and desperately needs to be sized and I thought it would be great to have a wedding ring set to wear while my real one is off being sized. The other thing that made it so appealing to me is when they gave the idea to wear each piece of the set separately on your right hand. See, so I can still use it even when I'm not using it to substitute for my real wedding rings. Sounded good to me! The ring is sterling silver, got great reviews from customers and has been raved about in magazines like US Weekly and Star. So, I was sold! When I opened up the box and saw it, it was even better than I had imagined and it looks gorgeous on! Needless to say, I am more than happy with it.

While the ring is what I chose, there were so many other pieces that I would love to get my hands on...or on my hands, my ears, my wrist. You get the idea. They have jewelry that is designer or celebrity inspired too, so you can get yourself a piece that looks like something you saw on the red carpet that you loved. Here are a few more of the awesome pieces they have to offer...

I would love to have these earrings. I've never seen anything quite like them!

What a unique black pearl set. Sure beats plain old boring pearls, doesn't it?

Just think of all the ways you could mix and match these bracelets. I love jewelry that's so versatile.

A simple, pretty CZ cross.

An awesome Tungsten ring for men.

Now, how fun would it be to get some great jewelry like this for Valentine's Day? All of their jewelry comes in a signature pink gift box and if you'd like it packaged more decoratively, for $3.95 you can have it sent in their large signature pink box tied with a white satin bow. Perfect for gift-giving! I bet a lot of guys would appreciate their wife or girlfriend giving them a little heads-up on what they would love to have and when they see the prices, I think they'll be even more into that idea. So, go ahead and show your guy some of your favorites and just maybe you'll be surprised with one of these little pink boxes this Valentine's Day! They also offer gift certificates, which would be another great gift option.

I'm sure that by now you're thinking "Ok already, just tell me what piece of this awesome jewelry I have the chance to win!". Well, have I got an exciting surprise for you! The people over at Fantasy Jewelry Box are offering one of my readers their choice of any piece of jewelry they offer that is under $50.00! Yes, you get to pick whatever you want that is in that price range. Pretty darn awesome, isn't it?! So, hurry up and look below to find out how to gain entries to win this great giveaway!

Valentine's Review/Giveaway #2 ~ Enstrom's Almond Toffee

Sweets are a big part of Valentine's Day for most people. I'm not a huge sweets person, but there are a few sweet things that I cannot control myself around. One of those sweet things would be toffee! Mmmm, the crunchy, buttery, sweet deliciousness...somebody stop me. I've had lots of toffee in my day, but I honestly have never had toffee like the Almond Toffee from Enstrom's. Pure bliss.

Just listen to this description and tell me how you could possibly resist...
The perfect blend of sweet cream butter, pure cane sugar and California almonds, drenched in creamy milk chocolate and sprinkled with crushed almonds.

Let me just give you a personal account of how incredible this stuff is. When I got the toffee in the mail, Brian said "I don't like toffee. I don't see what the big deal is about it. It just gets stuck in your teeth and is annoying and doesn't even taste that good." This angered me (I am very protective of the things I enjoy) LOL. He proceeded to watch me open it up and I saw this little spark of interest develop. The next thing I knew he was asking to "just try a little" because he "might as well". Mmmmhmmm. The next words that came out of his mouth were "Oh my gosh. That stuff is really good. It's amazing, actually." Duh! But no, don't listen to me! LOL

We actually just got the box out of the freezer and both had a piece because he knows I'm writing up the review and just the thought of the toffee made us both want some. It's seriously that good, I'm not even kidding.

So, even the guy who basically called toffee "overrated" is now a serious fan and has already promised me that he will buy me a box of this Enstrom's Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee at least once a year (and that's only because I'm still trying to lose weight and then would like to maintain it, or I would demand it much more often than that). We've had it for well over a month now and have kept it in the freezer and just pull it out and break a little piece off every now and then and we are just now starting on the second big piece, so it lasts a while and is so yummy with a cup of coffee. Also, it's not sticky at all, like a lot of other toffee is. It isn't sticking in our teeth and that's just another selling point for Brian. We seriously just love this stuff. In fact, I don't believe I've ever had any kind of sweets that I've liked more than this. They also offer gourmet chocolates and sugar free options too, so be sure to check those out!

The sweet (ha, that's corny, but the lady I've worked with really has been sweet) people over at Enstrom's would like to share a box of their toffee with one of my readers! Isn't your mouth just watering in anticipation? See below for all the possible ways to gain entries into this great giveaway!

Can't wait? Visit Enstrom's website to place an order and get it in time to give to someone special for Valentine's Day (or for yourself, because you probably deserve it anyway, right?)

Valentine's Review/Giveaway #1 ~ Flatten Me

So, Valentine's Day isn't typically one of my favorite holidays or anything. Brian and I sometimes go out to eat and occasionally get each other a card, but we pretty much decided at the beginning of our marriage that it wasn't a big deal to either of us and we'd rather not spend the money on stuff for each other. We usually like to get the boys a little something that we set out on the kitchen table for them to find in the morning when they get up and that's always fun, but pretty much the extent of our Valentine's Day activities.

If you have kids though, you know that they love the Valentine's party at school and getting to give Valentines to all of their friends (ok, they love all the cookies, chocolate and candy too). My kids also like sending a special card to their Great Grandmas and their Grandparents too. Sometimes they like to make them and other times we go pick some out at the store, but either way, it's a nice time to remind them of how much they love them. Well, I have found the most unique, cutest Valentine cards at Flatten Me!

Flatten me is an awesome company that takes your child's picture and uses it to create a unique, one-of-a-kind personalized item such as a card or a book. It's super simple to do online by just uploading a picture of your child and they do the rest!

I was fortunate enough to be able to make up a super cute card with Asher's picture for Valentine's Day that I know his Great Grandmas, Grandparents (and a couple other people we'll be sending them to) will absolutely adore! I don't want to show it because some of them read my blog and I want it to be a surprise, but here are a couple examples of the Valentine's cards they have to offer...

Not only do they have cards that would be great for Valentine's Day, but they also have a lot of other card options that would be super cute as invitations to a special Birthday party or for whatever occasion you would like. Here are a couple of the other styles of cards they offer...

And don't forget, you can make awesome books and Journals with your child's picture too! What an awesome gift one of these would be, whether for your child or for another child! They also have dress-up stuff, which is always fun!

Right now, they are offering 10% off of the Sir Perfect & Me book until February 1st if you use the code LUVMYSIR at checkout!

I was extremely impressed by the selection, ease of ordering, customer service and quality of the cards I received. I think Flatten Me has something really great going here and I'm excited to have the opportunity to share their company with all of you!

The great people over at Flatten Me have offered one of my readers their very own set of cards of their choice! How fun is that?! This giveaway will end next Sunday (January 31st) so that you will hopefully get your cards in time for Valentine's Day. There are no guarantees though, so if you would like to choose a card style that isn't necessarily Valentine style, you may want to do that. The choice is yours!
See below for how to gain entries into this great giveaway!

Don't want to wait? Go to FlattenMe.com and order yours today!

You May Have Noticed...

There are some new things going on on the right side of my blog! My super awesome husband helped me come up with some cool new buttons and not only are they cute, they help you gain extra entries into my giveaways.

First you will notice the new button for my blog. Starting with the giveaways that will begin this week, you will see that having my button on your blog will gain you 4 entries into all my giveaways. This will be my permanent button for my blog and will always be there for gaining extra entries into my giveaways, separate from the buttons I will have for special events. So, put that puppy up on your blog and guarantee yourself 4 easy entries into all my future giveaways! (Isn't it so cute? I'm so excited about how it turned out!)

The second thing you will notice over there on the right is a new button for my Valentine's Event that will start on January 25th and end on January 31st. That's a full week of giveaways, with a giveaway each day!!!! Now, that's a sweet event if I do say so myself...and I do. Adding that little button to your blog during the event period will get you an extra 3 entries into each of the giveaways that week. So, if you add that button and my regular blog button, you'll have yourself 7 easy entries into all the giveaways next week! If I were you, I'd totally do that. ;-)

YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ALL OF THE GIVEAWAYS FROM NEXT WEEK WILL END ON FEBRUARY 1ST, SO THAT HOPEFULLY YOU'LL GET YOUR PRIZE IN TIME FOR VALENTINE'S DAY, SO BE SURE TO ENTER THEM RIGHT AWAY AS THEY ARE POSTED, SO YOU DON'T MISS OUT!

So there ya go! Just some of the new fun going on here at Finally Finding Me...I Think. Thank you to all you great readers who are making this such a fun thing for me. I really do appreciate you all!

BTWB Event Review & Giveaway #5 - Muk Luks

Cold toes and feet...I'm not a fan. Toasty toes and feet...now that's what I'm talking about! This girl constantly has cold feet, so the chance to have them warm and toasty is super appealing and I love what I found to keep them warm for a change!

I was lucky enough to be able to review a pair of Muk Luks boots and let me tell you, they are my most favorite shoes ever! It literally feels like my feet are surrounded by a fluffy pillow that is comfy and cozy and cute all at the same time! I was able to choose the pair of my choice and chose the MUK LUKS Horizontal Rib Lace Back - Black. When I got that big ol' box delivered to my front door, I was so excited! I immediately brought it in, opened it up, oohed and aahed over the cuteness of the boots and slipped them on. Oh the cozy comfort. I couldn't wait to get to wear them out somewhere, so I wore them the next day...all day. I seriously kept them on in the house and everything (Brian laughed at me). They were so comfortable that I didn't want to take them off! See for yourself how darn cute they are!

Not only do they make awesome boots to keep your feet warm outside, but they make super cute slippers to keep your feet warm inside! (I seriously think I need to get myself some so that I'm not just wearing my boots around the house all day). I've got my eye on a couple different pairs...the hard part is deciding which ones because they are all so cute!

Well, the great people over at Muk Luks would like to offer one of my readers their very own pair of Muk Luks from any of the available styles over at Shoebuy.com. Aren't you excited? You should be! See below for all the possible ways you can enter to get yourself some snuggly Muk Luks!

BTWB Event Review & Giveaway #4 - Right On The Walls

Once all the fun decorations from the holidays are down and put away, my house always feels so boring to me. I always itch for something to be new and exciting in my decor, but don't want to spend a ton of money either. Well, I found the perfect solution for that at Right On The Walls!

They are a great company that makes vinyl wall art, custom color labels, car decals and more! I especially love their wall art. What a quick and easy way to add new interest to a room! So you know when I saw what they had to offer, I wanted one for my wall! I am planning a total makeover of my main living area of my house and really want to decorate in a way that reflects my family and things that are important to us, so the vinyl wall art I chose says "Faith" big in the middle and then in a circle around it, it says "To Those Who Have Faith; No Explanation Is Necessary, To Those Without; No Explanation Is Possible". I just love that! I am really itching to get the painting and all that good stuff done now so I can put it up as the focal point of my living room!

They have all different types of wall art...for your kitchen, bedroom, children's rooms, laundry room, entryway, bathroom, etc. There is something for just about anything you could think of. You can get personalized wall art or a vinyl decal to put on the dance floor for your wedding (my sister did this and it was so cool). They also have these really cool wall clock kits that are actually a functioning clock. Seriously awesome. Not only can you put the vinyl art on walls, but it also can be put on glass, mirrors, metal and plastic, so you can put them almost anywhere.

Here are a few of the hundreds of designs they offer...

Now, wouldn't you like to add a fun new piece of decor to your home? Well, it's your lucky day! Right On The Walls has offered one of my readers a $40 gift code to be used at checkout from their website! See below for how you can enter to win this awesome giveaway.

Keep an Eye Out!!!

Later today I'll be posting 2 awesome reviews and giveaways! I apologize for the gap between the last one and now, but I was waiting on some info from these last 2 companies that I'm working with for this event.

Now, if you're disappointed that I said these are the last two reviews/giveaways of this event, don't be! Next week I have a different review/giveaway everyday as a Valentine's Event. I wanted to make sure that you'd have plenty of time to order some of these goodies as Valentine gifts because I know when you see them, you're gonna love them!

So, watch for those 2 reviews/giveaways that will be ending my Beat The Winter Blues event today (they are two of the coolest givewaways yet!) and be ready for a week of giveaways that start Monday!

The Lightkeeper's Daughter by Colleen Coble

I just finished reading a book that completely captivated me. The Lightkeeper's Daughter by Colleen Coble is set back in the 1800s and is a great mixture of mystery, suspense and romance. She does an amazing job of being descriptive about the characters, the clothing they wore, the decor of the buildings, just everything and it completely transports you to that place and time. I love that I was able to read a captivating mystery/suspense/romance without it being raunchy and just be able to enjoy the story. I have heard from friends that her other books are excellent too, so I definitely plan to check them out!

Below is the book description to give you a better idea of what the story line is...

Book Description

At a lavish estate in Mercy Falls, California, Addie Sullivan finds danger—and quite possibly the love of her life.

Growing up as the lightkeeper’s daughter on a remote island at the turn of the century, Addie Sullivan has lived a hardscrabble life. When a long-lost and wealthy relative finds her and enlists her to work as a governess at a lavish estate, she hopes to discover the truth of her heritage. But at Eaton Hall, nothing is as it seems. Not the idyllic family she hoped for, not the child she was hired to help, not even the aloof man she’s immediately attracted to. Soon she must turn for help to Lieutenant John North, a man who views her with suspicion.

As Addie edges closer to the truth, danger threatens even as her romance with John blossoms and together they unravel a decades-old mystery. As Addie faces down her enemy, she discovers that faith in her one true Father is all she needs.

I definitely recommend this book!

You can purchase this book at Barnes & Noble and many other book stores.

BTWB Event Review & Giveaway #3 - We Love Colors

With this cold weather we're having, most of our dresses get pushed to the back of the closet because we can't bear to bare our legs out in the freezing temps. I'm always bummed by this because I like wearing dresses and don't like losing a big part of my wardrobe due to the weather. Well, there's a great solution for that that I'd love to share with you!

We Love Colors is a company that offers just about every color of opaque tights imaginable! They've got your basics, as well as tons of great colors you may never even have thought of wearing before...but should! Got a plain black or gray dress? How about adding some interest with a pair of teal or magenta tights? Maybe you have a plain brown dress...try some maroon or gold tights. There are so many possibilities!

They don't just have tights though, they have socks, gloves, mini dresses, dancewear and more. Plus, they just came out with leggings! Leggings are so popular right now and I have a couple outfits I haven't been able to wear because I've needed some leggings, so I was very excited at the chance to get to review a pair for myself. I chose the solid black leggings because they will go with all the outfits I need them for and I love them! They have a nice sheen to them that adds interest to my outfit and they look great with my knee-high boots or with flats! I seriously dig 'em.

The great people over at We Love Colors would like to give 2 of my readers the opportunity to score a pair of tights of their own. You'll be able to pick your choice of color, so it's a perfect time to try something different and interesting! See below to find out how to enter!
