BTS Event - Mabel's Labels Ultimate Back-to-School Combo ~ Review & Giveaway

Heading back to school means that our kids are equipped with new supplies, new clothes, new shoes, etc. that we all probably just paid quite a bit for (even us frugal gals who search for the best deals). What it also means sometimes is lost supplies, lost clothing items and occasionally a lost shoe (or boot, in the winter).

I cannot tell you how many times my kids have misplaced a spring or fall jacket, gloves, hats, etc. and even though we have been fortunate to get many of them back... we don't always. It's so frustrating to spend money on things and to have them get lost and have to replace them. At Kindergarten round-up this year when they were telling us the importance of having everything labeled for our kids so that this wouldn't happen, I finally decided to get smart and do just that.

I have worked with Mabel's Labels before (you can read that review here) and I immediately thought that they would be great for getting the types of labels I needed for Asher as he starts his school journey.

Well, I was right! When I saw their Ultimate Back-to-School Combo, I knew it was perfect and I was lucky enough to be sent one of these combos for review! I chose the Blue Storm design (which I would love to show you, but the labels have our last name on them too and I just don't think that's necessarily smart to put out here) and Asher thinks it's the coolest!

First off, let me tell you what the combo includes...
Features:
■Skinny-Minis are dishwasher and microwave safe
■Tag Mates™ are washer and dryer safe
■Shoe Labels and Teeny Tags™ are waterproof and UV resistant
■Satisfaction guaranteed

Quantity:
■50 Tag Mates™
■40 Skinny-Minis™
■16 Shoe Labels
■2 Teeny Tags™

Size:
■Tag Mates™ : 21mm x 10mm (13/16" x 3/8")
■Skinny-Minis™ : 38mm x 8mm (1-1/2" x 5/16")
■Shoe Labels: 38mm x 38mm (1-1/2" x 1-1/2")
■Teeny Tags™ : 3cm x 2cm (1.2'' x 0.8'')

Here are a couple pictures of the Colorful Combo Packs (They are available in Classic as well)...

I was completely thrilled when I received the combo pack! I mean, there's enough shoe labels for 8 pairs of shoes, which will easily get him through the year, even for his rain and snow boots! Those Teeny Tags are too cute and will go perfect on his backpack and lunch bag. Did you see that the Tag Mates are washer and dryer safe? That means I can label his jackets, hats, gloves, etc. with them and don't have to worry about them getting smudged or coming off when wet with rain or snow, or having to replace the tags every time I wash the items! Then, the lovely Skinny-Minis... I can easily label his supplies and even things like his thermos and since they are dishwasher (and microwave) safe, I can wash it again and again without having to change the label each time! Did you see the quantity of the labels too? I will have plenty for this year and probably then next year or two as well! You can't beat that!

Also, these aren't just great for kids in school, they are excellent for kids in daycare as well. The labels are great for sippy cups, pacifiers, clothes, diaper bags, etc. Pretty much anything you'd need to label!

I'm sure teachers will appreciate these labels as well, because it means they won't have to go around asking the kids who items belong to!

*Something to keep in mind is that these combo packs are only available through September 24th, so if you'd like to order one for yourself you should get over to Mabel's Labels now and get your order in!*

Ok, I really like these!!! I love the tiny labels that you can put on pencils! I was just labeling all Gracie's school supplies the other night. I wanted to buy pencils with Gracie's name on them, but the teacher wanted a specific brand of pencils. Those tiny skinny labels would work perfect on her pencils! How cool!

Small school going kids generally get in trouble because of similar items they all have and sometime lose items because of no identity of owner on items. So the name labels are very beneficial to use as it provide identification to various items and also these labels can solve parents many problems in helpful manners.
