Mountain Hardwear Skirt and Backpack Review

The amazing people over at Mountain Hardwear were kind enough to let me review some more of their great products. If you missed the first two reviews I did with them, you can find them here and here.

I was sent their new Tonga Knit Skirt in Espresso and it has to be the most comfortable skirt I've ever had. The knit fabric is so nice and light and perfect for summer. It skims the body perfectly and isn't at all clingy like some knit skirts are. I love the color and the cool stitching detail that it has too. The skirt looks great with a simple tee or tank and a pair of flip flops, which I think makes it a perfect piece to have in your wardrobe for summer. As is always the case with the items I have reviewed from them, the skirt is made with very high quality. I am loving it!

Here is their website's description of the skirt...

Women’s Tonga Knit Skirt (OL2571)

Made of soft, organic cotton with stretch, the Tonga Knit Skirt falls just above the knee. It is the perfect skirt for the active woman who refuses a skirt that restricts.

FEATURES: Asymmetrical waistband, Contrast stitching, Double “X” contrast stitching at back seam

USAGE: Active/Mountain Lifestyle

FABRICS: V6 Jersey (91% organic cotton, 9% elastane)

DETAILS: 7 oz., 191 g; Black, Espresso, Stone Green, Thunderbird Red, Blue Ice; $55

The next great item I was sent to review is their Enterprise Pack in Jungle. Now, this is no regular backpack. I was really impressed with how sturdy the stitching and zippers are. You can tell that this pack is made for some serious use and will hold up to a lot of wear and tear. Since we don't do any kind of mountain climbing or anything like that, this bag will be used for school by one of my sons and I see it lasting for years and years. Now, the question is which one will get it because they all wanted it when they saw it! All I know is that I am really impressed with this backpack and excited to have such a great quality item that is sure to stand up to years of being thrown around by whoever uses it.

Here is the website's description of the backpack..

As you will notice, these items are not cheap in price and that's because their quality is not cheap either. I continue to be amazed by the great quality of their items and the care they put into making them. As most of you know, you usually get what you pay for and I can tell you that if you pay for items from Mountain Hardwear, you are getting high quality items that I am confident will last you for years and years. I'm a huge fan!

Here are a few more of their items that I think are awesome and would love for my family to have...
